Festivities start at 11:00 AM with the parade led by Plano Fire & Police personnel followed by lunch provided by everyone’s favorite, The Hamburger Man.

We will be emailing invitations to this event shortly.  Just a reminder that to participate in the lunch, you need to be a paid WHOA member.  If you have not yet paid, you can pay $145 annual dues via check payable to WHOA and mail to PMB 288, 3948 Legacy Drive, Suite 106, Plano, TX 75023-8300.  You can also pay online at https://www.mywhiffletreehoa.com/pay-dues.  Please note that the online payment amount is $150 to cover the online processing fees.

Come join us on the fun day.  This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Whiffletree neighbors, renew acquaintances, enjoy a delicious grilled lunch, and celebrate the Declaration of Independence, 249 years ago.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES NOW BEING COLLECTED

It’s that time of year again to pay your WHOA V/VI/VII dues. The fiscal year for our HOA begins on April 1st. Timely payment of dues avoids the expense of mailing out invoices in the near future as well as multiple follow up communications. To those who have already paid your dues for 2025-2026, THANK YOU!  Our HOA is voluntary and we depend totally on your dues to fund the cost of maintaining our entrance landscaping, plantings, utilities (electricity for lighting the entrances and water for irrigating the plants), holiday decorations, special events and administrative expenses.

TO PAY BY CHECK, mail a $145 check (payable to WHOA) to the Whiffletree mailbox (PMB 288, 3948 Legacy Dr, Ste 106, Plano, TX  75023).

TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL, go to the “Pay Dues” tab on our website,  www.mywhiffletreehoa.com. Online payments are $150 due to incremental charges by the payment processors.

As promised earlier this year, the WHOA entered the names and addresses of residents who paid their 2025 dues by April 30th into a lottery to receive free dues for next year.  The winners were Jim Stoebner and Seung Park of 3312 Wolfe Court.  Congratulations Jim & Seung and thank you paying WHOA early.

Paid members receive our annual neighborhood Directory. This past year, the Board voted to deploy an Online Directory of Whiffletree V/VI/VII residents which is updated throughout the year as new residents move in or Household Information changes. However, paid residents are able to request a printed version if they choose.

Looking for Volunteers to Serve on the WHOA Board of Directors

The Whiffletree HOA (WHOA) fiscal year runs April 1 to March 31.  In early April, we hold our annual meeting where we elect board members and approve annual budget.  Location, date and time will be announced as we get closer.

For the past several years, we have benefited from a stable, energetic and conscientious board.  There is also great value in new board members who bring fresh, new ideas.  We are searching for neighbors that may have an interest in serving on WHOA Board of Directors.

Board positions include president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and committee chairpersons: beautification, crime watch, membership, social and welcoming.  If you have an interest in a board position or other ways to volunteer to support your neighborhood, please click on the following link https://www.mywhiffletreehoa.com/contact-us.  We will reach out to you to discuss your interests.

SCREENING WALL Replacement Plans (Update)

The screening wall along Independence has been completed and sod has been installed.  The City of Plano has approved Whiffletree HOA proposal for new landscaping and irrigation at the Clymer and Caravan entrances.  We will be using the same landscaping company as we used in 2020 at Marchman and Harvey entrances.  Timing for the landscape project is TBD but definitely by Spring.  Will all look great when completed!
