WOW meetings are normally held on the last Sunday of the month, 2:00-4:00 PM unless otherwise noted. To RSVP for an upcoming WOW meeting or to indicate what activities you have an interest in, fill out the form below. Feel free to bring a friend along—it's all about inclusivity and getting to know each other better. Let's make our neighborhood an even better place together. We look forward to seeing you there!

The first Women of Whiffletree meeting
The following WOW activities up and running:
- Book Club, held monthly on 3rd Thursday of the month.
- Bunco meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. If interested in being sub for current group or to sign up for new group (day time or night time Bunco game play), click on button below and to list interests.

Women of Whiffletree (WOW) Monthly Gathering
Connecting, Empowering, and Enriching Our Whiffletree Community
Overview
Each month, the women of our neighborhood come together for a vibrant gathering to foster connection, friendship, and empowerment within our local community. This gathering provides a welcoming space for women of all backgrounds, ages, and walks of life to engage in meaningful conversation, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.
The monthly meeting is not just a social event, it's a cornerstone of community life where ideas flourish, support networks are formed, and the unique strengths of every participant are celebrated. From lively discussions to collaborative projects, each gathering offers something new and enriching.

Structure of the Gathering
The format of the monthly gathering is designed to be both structured and flexible, allowing for planned activities while also leaving space for spontaneous conversation and connection. A typical meeting includes:
- Welcome and Introductions: Each session begins with a warm welcome and introductions, especially for newcomers.
- Community Updates: Brief sharing of news, upcoming events, or opportunities relevant to participants.
- Featured Activity or Speaker: Each month features a rotating activity or guest speaker, such as workshops, wellness sessions, or local business spotlights.
- Open Discussion: A time for sharing stories, discussing topics of interest, or brainstorming ways to support each other and the wider community.
- Refreshments: Light snacks and beverages are provided, often contributed by attendees on a rotating basis.
- Closing & Next Steps: Summary of key points from the meeting, announcements of upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved with ongoing projects.
Types of Activities
To keep each gathering engaging and beneficial, activities are thoughtfully curated based on participants’ interests and needs. Past and upcoming activities include:
- Book and Film Clubs: Discussions on chosen books or films, offering cultural and intellectual enrichment.
- Wellness Workshops: Yoga, meditation, nutrition talks, and holistic health sessions led by experts from the community.
- Creative Arts: Crafting, painting, writing workshops, or collaborative art projects that inspire creativity and self-expression.
- Skill-Sharing: Cooking demonstrations, recipe swaps, gardening tips, technology tutorials, and more, where members teach and learn from each other.

How to Join
Joining the monthly women’s neighborhood gathering is simple and open to all interested participants. New attendees are always greeted with enthusiasm and encouraged to become involved at whatever level they feel comfortable. Information about upcoming meetings is distributed through neighborhood newsletters, social media, and word-of-mouth. There is no membership fee, though contributions of time, ideas, or refreshments are always appreciated.
